Obviously I don't use this blog much. (Third post!) But in case anyone is wondering or cares, the lack of blog posting doesn't correspond to lack of attention to the Web site--or the business. I make small tweaks to the site almost every day, and the business is a major part of my daily schedule. Blogging about the moving business, however, has been difficult. I mean, come on--what's there to say?

Nonetheless, I'm going to try to keep this up better. I'll find some way to use it.

Yes, this whole post was basically a transcript of me thinking aloud.

Where I'm at.

I just received an e-mail from someone asking where I'm located. I see that my Web site doesn't make that very clear, so I'll add that to the growing list of tweaks the the site needs. (My cousin is doing a fantastic job of redesigning the site).

But, just to be clear for now, I help people in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area, focusing on the Northern Virginia area in particular.

This blog is intended to be a sort of work-around while I build my Web site. Eventually the My Truck Bud Web site will have an integrated blog, but for now, this should suffice.

But why a blog for a small moving service? Well, that's a good question. Honestly, I'm not sure if there's an burning need for it, but it at least allows a possibility of updating the site with news and information related to the business when I'm away from my home computer. It provides certain marketing advantages as well.

So, we'll see how it goes. For now, thanks for stopping by! Feel free to poke around the main Truck Bud Web site, and if you're looking for a buddy with a truck, don't hesitate to give me a call!
